Traditional resin burner is made from clay soil used for burning halalle, Frankincense resin, Myrrh resin, and Hur from Hagar. This is normally used by Kush communities namely; Rendile, Gabra, Borana, Sakuye, Somali, Ethiopians, and Eritreans. The traditional resin burner is used during special ceremonies and birthdays.
To burn your frankincense resin, you will need:
-A pea-sized piece of resin or a ½ tsp (about 2 grams) scoop of powdered resin.
-Charcoal
-Burner
Steps to burn frankincense resin:
-Light your charcoal -Place it down on the burner and allow it to continue burning until it has burned enough for a thin layer of ash to cover the charcoal
-Place your resin on the charcoal and allow it to burn.
